My journey: the #onemorerep story

Welcome to my personal journey, a testament to perseverance, dedication, and the unwavering belief in '#onemorerep'. Here, you'll discover the path that forged my passion for fitness and my commitment to helping you unlock your true potential. From the early fields of rugby to today's endeavours in which I push myself to my limits, every step has been a lesson in how to become your best self.

From the rugby pitch: childhood dreams

My fitness journey began early. I started playing rugby at seven years old. From the start the sport quickly became my life, and I had ambitions to pursue rugby as a professional. Between my club, my school and my own training, I used to train up to 6 days a week, sometimes twice a day, depending on commitments. Despite my dedication, opportunities were scarce, leading me to seek various avenues to try and pursue my dream. Unfortunately, that dream did not aspire, and I stopped playing rugby shortly after leaving school, as other aspects of my life needed to take more focus. However, this doesn't mean my training stopped completely, more like its role in my life was not as focal as before

Beyond the pitch: finding a new stride

I started a new job, after receiving a referral from an old coach, but my life felt incomplete, I was lacking a reason to push higher and further. I always had love for the gym, and running, something I felt I had a natural talent and criticised myself for not putting more time into in years gone by. That's when I came across an online Personal Training course, something I could work towards, and put me back on the right track. This led me to become a certified Personal Trainer at 19. My driving force? To help others succeed in their fitness goals, by providing a clear, informed and visible path for success. As a coach, it is my duty to guide you towards your goals, by providing a structure based on openness, honesty and trust, above all else.

The #onemorerep mentality: What the future holds?

The '#onemorerep' motto isn't just a slogan; it's a way of life forged through every setback and triumph. It has moulded me to keep pushing, even when the path is tough. As Rocky Balboa famously said, "It's not about how hard you hit, it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward." My journey is proof that growth is a choice. I bring that mindset to every session, challenging every client to find strength they didn’t know they had.
